Colombia’s digital economy continues to expand rapidly, driven by creators who have transformed their platforms into profitable businesses, strong communities, and projects with cultural impact.

In this context, Forbes Colombia officially unveiled its highly anticipated Top Creators 2025 list, a selection that recognizes the leaders of the country’s digital creative industry. This year’s edition features a standout cover with Tulio Recomienda, Alejandro Riaño, Sofia Castro, and Marcela Garcia, four of the most influential content creators in Colombia.

Their presence on the cover highlights not only their success collaborating with major brands but also their ability to build businesses and contribute to meaningful social initiatives.

The list was announced during a private dinner on Dec. 10 at iLatina restaurant in Bogota, a venue selected to highlight the importance of Colombia’s new digital elite. The event was sponsored by Kevin’s Joyeros, a Forbes partner in recognizing those who are redefining communication, consumption, and culture in the digital landscape.

Who are the content creators on the cover of Top Creators Colombia 2025?

This edition’s cover brings together four figures who represent different facets of Colombia’s digital ecosystem:

Tulio Recomienda, one of the country’s most influential culinary creators, is known for his restaurant recommendations and for driving events that have transformed the food sector, such as Burger Master, Pizza Master, and Sushi Master. His mission to “simplify haute cuisine” has democratized gastronomy and generated economic opportunities for thousands of restaurants across the country.

Alejandro Riaño, comedian, actor, and director, has built a humor empire around his satirical character Juanpis Gonzalez, a cultural phenomenon that exposes social inequalities and critiques Colombian politics. His influence also extends into entrepreneurship with innovative projects beyond the stage.

Sofia Castro, a digital creator and one of Colombia’s most popular YouTubers, has evolved from comedy videos to music, establishing herself as a multifaceted artist. With millions of followers on YouTube and TikTok, her career reflects the ability of today’s creators to diversify their platforms and expand into new industries.

Marcela Garcia, former Queen of the Barranquilla Carnival and digital creator, represents the transition of traditional media personalities into the creator economy. Her authenticity and connection with audiences have made her one of the most prominent influencers on the Caribbean Coast.

Key highlights of Top Creators Colombia 2025, according to Forbes

The Forbes Top Creators list is published annually to recognize creators who have turned their personal brands into engines of cultural and economic influence. Beyond follower count, the selection evaluates the real impact of their content, their ability to transform audiences, and their capacity to create monetary, symbolic, and social value.

Forbes emphasizes that the creator economy is no longer a passing trend but a consolidated industry with strong business structures. Many creators have taken their influence beyond screens to launch tangible ventures such as clothing lines, restaurants, beauty brands, creative agencies, and educational platforms. In Colombia, these ventures generate new jobs, stimulate the economy, and strengthen emerging creative ecosystems.

During the event, Forbes highlighted that the creators selected for the 2025 edition have built audiences through authenticity, innovation, and consistency. Their influence spans gastronomy, humor, music, entertainment and fashion, making them pillars of contemporary digital culture.
