Colombian singer Juanes will officially inaugurate DAVIarena, Colombia, the new multipurpose entertainment venue located in Sabaneta, Antioquia, considered one of the largest and most modern entertainment centers in Latin America. The concert will take place on November 14, 2026, and will be part of the “Juanes World Tour 2026,” the international tour that has taken the artist across several cities in the Americas and Europe.

The opening of this venue represents one of the most ambitious cultural and infrastructure projects recently developed in the Medellin metropolitan area. With a capacity of more than 17,000 spectators, DAVIarena aims to position itself as a new hub for concerts, conventions, and international events in Colombia.

The announcement has generated excitement among the Colombian artist’s fans and within the entertainment industry, as Juanes will become the first musician to perform at a venue designed to compete with major international arenas in the region. The singer himself stated that this concert will hold special meaning in his career and promised to deliver one of the most important performances of his life.

The show will also promote “JuanesTeban,” the singer’s twelfth studio album, a project accompanying the world tour that currently includes more than 50 concerts in different countries.

DAVIarena aims to turn Colombia into a new hub for international entertainment

DAVIarena, originally known as Arena Primavera, was conceived as a project intended to strengthen the cultural and entertainment offerings of the Aburra Valley. The venue later adopted its current name following sponsorship from Davivienda, which acquired the naming rights.

The complex will feature approximately 55,000 square meters of infrastructure and an investment exceeding 320 billion Colombian pesos (US$84.7 million). It was also designed by the international architecture firm HOK, globally recognized for developing venues such as London’s O2 Arena and Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Among the venue’s most notable features are its 23 private suites, premium hospitality areas, environmentally sustainable systems, high-efficiency cooling technology, and specially adapted spaces for people with reduced mobility.

The arena will be strategically located near the Itagüi Metro Station in Medellin and the Mayorca shopping center, making access easier for attendees traveling from different municipalities across the metropolitan area.

According to organizers’ projections, DAVIarena could host more than 75 events annually and welcome nearly 650,000 visitors during its first year of operation, including concerts, cultural shows, corporate events, and immersive experiences.

Juanes will headline the inaugural concert with his 2026 world tour

The inaugural concert will mark Juanes’ return to major stages in his hometown during one of the most active periods of his international career. Throughout 2026, the artist has performed at major festivals and arenas in cities such as Miami, Toronto, Chicago, Madrid, and Las Vegas.

With 29 Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards throughout his career, the singer is considered one of the leading figures in contemporary Latin rock and one of Colombia’s most internationally recognized musical artists.

Juanes’ selection as the inaugural performer also carries symbolic importance for the region, as the musician was born in Medellin and has maintained a strong connection to his culture throughout his career.
