JetSmart, the ultra-low-cost Airline, launches South America’s first monthly flight subscription. Frequent travelers now have access to an innovative option that will make traveling easier and more affordable. Under the name of Jet Smart GO, the initiative has become the first flight subscription membership, the first of its kind in South America.

This model allows passengers to access domestic flights in Peru, Chile, Argentina and Colombia by paying a fixed monthly fee, similar to streaming services.

The good news arrives at a time when the tourism sector in the country will see an increase as Holy Week approaches. Thousands of Colombians are starting to consider different travel destinations to spend these days of rest during the Easter Holiday

New flight subscription offers flexible travel plans for JetSmart GO members

JetSmart GO will be offering four subscription options aiming to satisfy the needs of different types of travelers. Depending on the chosen plan, users can take up to 12 flights per year (with zero base fare), this plan goes under the name of “Smart Pass,” or 6 flights per year if choosing the “Full Pass” plan. Travelers will be paying only airport fees at the time of booking. During its launch phase, Jet smart Go will have promotional prices available, the membership for now will cost 57,000 pesos (approximately US$14).

It is important to note that the service requires passengers to book their flights at least seven days in advance, eliminating concerns about price increases, especially during peak season.

How to subscribe to JetSmart Go Plans?

The company explains that the process to access JetSmart GO includes four basic steps:

1. The user must subscribe and choose one of the available plans that best suits their preferences.

2. The user has the option of customizing their trip by selecting the luggage they need in their subscription.

3. Create an account and choose a payment method to activate the subscription. Payments will be charged automatically each month.

4. Once everything is set up, the user can enjoy their plan and will only pay airport fees when making a reservation.

Through this innovative initiative, the company reaffirms its efforts to making air travel more accessible and providing affordable options for users in South America. Victor Mejia, Jet Smart’s CCO, stated during a press conference, “we want our customers to experience traveling SMART-flying more for less. With JetSmart Go, you fly your way.”
