Cartagena, Colombia, will inaugurate a new direct air route with Katowice, Poland, starting Nov. 11, 2025, strengthening its network of international routes and consolidating its position as one of the most important tourist destinations in the Colombian Caribbean. The new route will be operated by the airline World2Fly (W2Fly) as a direct charter flight, with weekly service every Tuesday, and will remain active until Jan. 14, 2026, according to Colombia’s Civil Aviation Authority (Aeronautica Civil).
This new connection marks another milestone in the internationalization strategy of Rafael Nuñez International Airport, which continues to expand its connectivity with Europe and North America. The route also responds to the growing demand from European travelers seeking warm-weather destinations during the winter season, positioning Cartagena de Indias as an attractive option for winter tourism from the Northern Hemisphere.

Katowice, a strategic city in southern Poland, will serve as a gateway for European travelers eager to experience the historic and natural beauty of Cartagena.
According to the Sociedad Aeroportuaria de la Costa (SACSA), this new route diversifies tourism markets and strengthens Cartagena’s international presence. “Cartagena continues to gain prominence as an international destination. This new connection with Poland opens doors to emerging European markets and reinforces our position as one of the most visited cities in the Caribbean,” said a SACSA spokesperson.
