Argentine singer-songwriter Fito Paez has confirmed his return to Colombia in June 2026 as part of his international Sale el Sol Tour, a journey that marks a new artistic chapter in his long and acclaimed career. The tour will include four concerts in the country, with performances in Cali, Manizales, Medellin, and Bogota, key cities within Colombia’s music circuit.
The announcement has generated great excitement among fans, who will once again meet one of the most influential icons of rock in Spanish, the creator of a body of work that has shaped several generations across Latin America and remains relevant thanks to both its legacy and constant artistic reinvention.
‘Sale el Sol,’ the Fito Paez tour coming to Colombia
The “Sale el Sol” Tour 2026 marks the beginning of an ambitious international tour that will kick off on March 19, 2026, at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires, the artist’s hometown. The first dates, scheduled for March 19 and 20, sold out quickly, leading to the addition of an extra show on April 10, confirming the high demand for Paez’s return to major stages.
After his performances in Argentina, the artist will take the show to several countries in Latin America and Europe, including Peru and Spain, before continuing to the United States, where the tour is expected to conclude in November 2026.
According to information confirmed by the production, Fito Paez will perform in Colombia on the following dates and venues:
Cali: June 5, 2026 – Arena Cañaveralejo.
Manizales: June 6, 2026 – Plaza de Toros.
Medellin: June 9, 2026 – La Macarena.
Bogota: June 13, 2026 – Movistar Arena.
Ticket sales in Colombia will include a pre-sale starting in January 2026, with prices varying by city and seating section. The estimated range goes from COP 150,000 (about US$41) for general seating to approximately COP 500,000 (about US$137) for VIP sections.
Fito Paez’s last solo shows in Colombia took place in 2023, when he performed only in Bogota and Medellin as part of the commemorative tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of “El amor despues del amor,” one of the most influential albums in Spanish-language music. In 2025, however, he returned to the country as part of the lineup of Festival Cordillera in Bogota, appearing in a festival format rather than a standalone concert.
A repertoire that blends classics and a new creative stage
The “Sale el Sol” Tour represents more than just the artist’s return to the stage. The tour accompanies a new creative phase for Fito Paez, in which he blends some of the most emblematic songs from his catalog with recent compositions that reflect his current artistic moment.
The setlist is expected to include iconic tracks such as “Mariposa Tecknicolor,” “11 y 6,” and “El amor despues del amor,” alongside new material that dialogues with his trajectory without losing relevance.
The production will feature a full band, renewed arrangements, and updated stage design, crafted to offer an experience that balances nostalgia with reinvention. According to the production team, the goal is to deliver a solid and emotional show, designed for both longtime fans and new audiences alike.
