The La Solar Medellin Festival has unveiled the official lineup for its 2026 edition, confirming an ambitious showcase that blends global stars, leading Latin urban artists, and alternative acts, solidifying its place as one of the most important music events in the country. The festival will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the Atanasio Girardot Sports Complex, a venue that marks a new stage in the event’s evolution. La Solar is held every year in May in Medellin, Colombia.
Organizers announced that this edition will be a single-day event, but with a larger-scale production, expanded technical setup, and an enhanced experience that integrates music, gastronomy, and cultural spaces. Gates will open at 2:00 p.m., with a continuous schedule spanning multiple genres and generations.
La Solar Medellin 2026 Lineup
The lineup is led by Danny Ocean, Mora, and DJ Snake, three artists who reflect the festival’s sonic diversity. Danny Ocean represents contemporary Latin pop with international hits, while Mora has established himself as one of the most influential producers and singers of the new urban wave. DJ Snake brings the global electronic component, known for his performances at the world’s biggest festivals.
They are joined by key reggaeton and hip hop figures such as J Alvarez, Alvaro Diaz, Nanpa Basico, and Colombian artist Crudo Means Raw, who strengthens the presence of national talent with an alternative rap proposal. Also noteworthy is Yandel Sinfónico, a special format that blends urban music with orchestral arrangements, broadening the musical spectrum of the event.
The lineup expands with artists such as Sofi Tukker and Porter Robinson (DJ Set) in the electronic scene, Orishas with their fusion of hip hop and Caribbean roots, and representatives of the Mexican regional and urban scenes such as Gabito Ballesteros, Kris R., Rich Mafia (Aleman + Gera MX), along with producers and songwriters such as Caleb Calloway and Elena Rose. This diversity confirms La Solar’s eclectic approach, built on a blend of genres.
La Solar Festival’s renewed format
The move to the Atanasio Girardot Sports Complex represents a logistical leap for the festival, which in previous years happened at Parque Norte. With this change, organizers aim to offer broader infrastructure and a stage production with greater visual and technical impact.
One of the most significant new features in 2026 is the creation of family-friendly areas. The VIP Familiar and General Familiar zones will allow entry for minors aged 12 and older, provided they are accompanied by an adult. They will not sell or allow alcohol consumption in these sections, and access will be focused on the main stage. Other areas will remain restricted to attendees aged 18 and over, with access to all stages.
Since its origins, La Solar began as an event linked to electronic and urban music, but over time, it has evolved into a multisensory experience that integrates culture, entertainment, and tourism. With this lineup, its new venue, and its annual May date, the festival continues to position Medellin as a hub for major music events in Latin America, attracting both local audiences and international visitors.
