Eight Colombian fashion brands will take part in New York Fashion Week 2026, one of the most influential stages in the global fashion industry.

Their participation will take place within the Fashion Designers of Latin America (FDLA) runway show, scheduled for Feb. 13 to 16 in Manhattan, marking a new milestone for Colombian design in international markets.

The selected brands are part of Bogota’s popular fashion scene, with roots in traditional commercial districts such as San Victorino and El Restrepo.

They will arrive in New York through the Puente Internacional initiative led by the Bogota Chamber of Commerce (CCB), which aims to promote the internationalization of Colombia’s creative and business talent.

In the apparel category, the selected brands are Alanna, A Modo Mio, C’emadier, Más Cincuenta y Siete by Love Me Jeans, Lorant & Co, and Lyenzo. These labels are known for proposals that combine contemporary design, local identity, and a strong commercial focus.

In footwear, Liza Herrera and Kernel Leather will participate — two brands recognized for the quality of their materials and their artisanal design with international projection.

Alanna is a Colombian brand specializing in knitwear, known for its versatile, timeless, and high-quality designs created to highlight the essence and beauty of every woman.

A Modo Mio uses fashion as a catalyst for messages that promote female freedom. Its pieces, made in Colombia, combine embroidery, beadwork, textures, and color, with an aesthetic approach that challenges stereotypes and breaks away from convention.

C’emadier was born from the idea of transforming dreams, experiences, and memories into textiles full of meaning. With 100% Colombian production, the brand stands out for its artisanal approach and pieces that reflect deeply personal creative processes.

Also taking part in the runway show is Más Cincuenta y Siete by Love Me Jeans (+57), a brand founded in Bogota in 2024 that pays tribute to Colombian identity through denim. Its proposal blends contemporary design, local pride, and a commitment to responsible consumption and sustainability.

Joining this group is Lyenzo, a brand created in 2016 and specializing in artisanal outer corsetry. Its pieces, built through manual processes, stand out for highlighting the lines of the female body and for their structural and detailed approach.

In the footwear segment, Liza Herrera Calzado and Kernel Leather will be featured. Liza Herrera Calzado has more than 13 years of experience in the market and specializes in customized shoes made in Colombia, allowing clients to adapt designs, materials, and heel heights to their preferences.

Kernel Leather, founded by Kamila Parra in Bogota’s traditional Restrepo neighborhood, represents the area’s shoemaking tradition with a contemporary vision. Its artisanal proposal seeks to position Colombian footwear in international markets, and its participation in NYFW is seen as a key step in its global expansion strategy.

The presence of these eight brands at New York Fashion Week 2026 highlights the evolution of Bogota’s popular fashion, a sector historically linked to local commerce that is now projecting itself onto highly visible international stages.

From workshops and traditional neighborhoods, these brands have built identity, quality, and competitive proposals for demanding global markets.

Beyond the runway, participation in FDLA will allow Colombian designers to create business connections, explore export opportunities, and strengthen the country’s positioning as a creative reference point in Latin America.
