The Colombian singer Shakira was confirmed as the headlining artist of the Feeding Concert India 2026. This year, the event will take place in two cities in India: Mumbai on April 10 and New Delhi on April 15; the Colombian star will perform on both dates.

The artist’s participation marks a particularly meaningful return, as she has not performed in the Asian country since 2007. Her comeback has generated great anticipation among her fans and within the international music industry, not only because of her global career but also due to the charitable nature of the event she will headline.

The Feeding India Concert 2026 is the third edition of this solidarity-focused music event organized by the NGO Feeding India, a nonprofit founded in 2014 with the mission of combating hunger and malnutrition across the country.

The concert’s main goal is to raise funds and increase awareness about child nutrition, while also supporting the global Zero Hunger 2030 target promoted by the United Nations.

The initiative aims to strengthen school and community feeding programs, as well as expand interventions focused on mothers and children in vulnerable situations.

This edition will also hold special artistic significance, as it marks Shakira’s return to the Asian country after nearly two decades away. Her last performance there was in 2007, when she gave a single concert in Mumbai as part of her international tour that year.

For the first time, the event will expand its format with performances in two cities, increasing its reach and international visibility. It is also supported by Zomato, the technology platform that collaborates with Feeding India to optimize food distribution and expand the impact of its social programs.

Beyond the musical show, organizers emphasize that the concert serves as a global mobilization platform that brings together culture, entertainment, and humanitarian action on a single stage.

Shakira will be the first Latin artist to headline Feeding India

The presence of Shakira also marks a milestone for the event, as she becomes the first Latin artist to headline the charity concert’s main lineup. In previous editions, the stage had been led by internationally renowned artists such as Post Malone and Dua Lipa, reflecting the festival’s growing global dimension.

Her participation further strengthens the event’s international positioning and expands its visibility in regions such as Latin America and Europe, where the singer maintains a strong fan base.

The Feeding India Concert 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most significant musical and charitable events of the year, combining the presence of a global superstar with a strong humanitarian commitment.

More than just a show, the event seeks to mobilize resources, raise awareness, and demonstrate the power of music as a tool for social transformation.
