Stray Kids is a South Korean K-pop boy group created in 2017 by JYP Entertainment. The group officially debuted on March 25, 2018, and quickly became one of the most important global phenomena in contemporary Asian music.
The group is currently made up of Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N., artists recognized not only for their vocals and choreography but also for actively participating in the songwriting and production of their music.
One of the factors that has distinguished the group within K-pop is their creative approach. The subunit 3RACHA, composed of Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han, produces much of the group’s catalog, blending hip hop, EDM, rock, and electronic pop sounds with lyrics focused on identity, resilience, and personal growth.
Among their biggest hits are songs such as “MIROH,” “God’s Menu,” “Back Door,” and “Thunderous,” singles that helped solidify their international impact and have accumulated hundreds of millions of streams on digital platforms.
The group has also achieved major commercial milestones. Albums such as “Oddinary,” “Maxident,” “5-Star,” and “Rock-Star” reached number one on the Billboard 200, while their global sales have surpassed millions of physical and digital copies.
Bogota joins the global K-pop concert circuit
Stray Kids’ arrival also reflects Colombia’s growing presence within the international circuit of Asian music and global pop concerts. In recent years, the country has started hosting internationally recognized artists thanks to increasing demand from younger audiences and the expansion of the live entertainment industry.
The “STRAYCITY” format aims to transform each concert into an immersive experience closer to a music festival than a traditional performance. In addition to appearances by local and regional guests, the show will feature large-scale visual production and a conceptual narrative inspired by the group’s artistic identity.
Stray Kids’ visit to Bogota will take place just days before the group makes history as the first K-pop act to headline Rock in Rio, one of the world’s largest music festivals.
