Tolu and Coveñas, two municipalities located in the department of Sucre, are very popular tourist destinations in the Caribbean region of Colombia. Although they are geographically close, each area offers a unique experience for visitors. Additionally, their proximity to cities like Monteria and Sincelejo makes them easily accessible and residents from these areas frequently visit them during weekends or holidays. Many people even own vacation homes in Tolu and Coveñas.

What to do in Tolu

Tolu, with its traditional charm, is known for its malecon (boardwalk), from where visitors can enjoy beautiful sunsets and take excursions to the paradisiacal San Bernardo Islands, located just 45 minutes away by boat.
